Took my class of Yr 4 pupils to the exhibition today - it was awful. Appalling customer service - the lady very clearly isn't the biggest fan of children. She made the whole experience extremely stressful and was quite condescending to the children. The museum...More

We found the exhibit interesting but seeing as it only took just over an hour to do found it poor value for money give the price of £8.95 per adult plus another £2.50 to see the mummies upstairs. Really do not understand why this was...More

If we had only visited this museum I would say that it was very expensive. However, we purchased a ticket that gave admission to other smallish museums in the same area, all within walking distance of each other. Lots of things to read about and...More

Not bad place to visit if you have got time to waste. Not to be taken too seriously as only replica's are available to see. A lot of money to pay for just a small exhibition. Not very good access for disabled people.

This place is the quintessential English fake museum! It was clearly designed by an English eccentric many moons ago, and now it's looking a bit dated and moth-eaten in a charmingly English crappy way. It's not awful, exactly, but it needs dragging into the 21st...More

We had bought a collective ticket covering a lot of different museums so while I acknowledge that the museum is pricey, it can be mitigated. The displays are good with some effort at more modern electronic elements. The displays of the tomb are good. I'd...More

I would say half an hour to threequarters of an hour to read and look at all the details and exhibits thoroughly.
