I've been a few times with my young son, with mummy friends and with my husband. Animals entertained the little ones - you can get close enough for them to be seen. The walk around the lake is easy enough with prams too. Reasonable price...More

Recent visit to Kingston Maurward park was pleasantly surpirsed. This has a good range of animals which you can feed and kept our daughter entertained for a few hours. Includes a small playpark which was in good condition and extensive grounds to wander around.

Went to the gardens today what a refreshing change to visit somewhere that have put some proper thought into making a visit good for disabled visitors. Excellent signage, lots of ramp access and proper sized disabled toilets. All this plus very friendly staff and paths...More

Super friendly staff. Really enjoyed the animals and for once a small playpark but not one which distracted toddler from everything else. Only had a takeaway cuppa but made with perfection! The garden is a little tatty, weedy, at the moment. But that happens in...More

Kingston Maurward is a place of multiple personality. Peace and tranquility of the grounds and the beautiful lake and then the farm/animal area. Literally something for everyone. Visiting during lambing is a great experience or any of the events that take place from wedding to...More

Hello, much like the last reviewer, I don't think you can get public transport there. I think the students who study there during the week have a specific bus/coach for them.
