Super friendly staff. Really enjoyed the animals and for once a small playpark but not one which distracted toddler from everything else. Only had a takeaway cuppa but made with perfection! The garden is a little tatty, weedy, at the moment. But that happens in...More

Kingston Maurward is a place of multiple personality. Peace and tranquility of the grounds and the beautiful lake and then the farm/animal area. Literally something for everyone. Visiting during lambing is a great experience or any of the events that take place from wedding to...More

I expected more from the gardens as the college does teach Horticulture but the flower beds were in need of much attention and bindweed can be seen invading the beds . Hardly any new flower stocks and no sight of the Penstemones and Salvias as...More

This property's website is impressive - far more impressive than the real thing! Having rented a nearby cottage for the week we decided to put Kingston Maurward Animal Park and Gardens on our list of places to visit and spend time enjoying. We shouldn't have...More

Thank you for your review and we are sorry that you had a disappointing visit. The Gardens and parkland are of the Jardin Anglais style - purposefully consisting of naturalistic areas of growth, and in a warm May such as this one, results in lush...More

The animals inside did not appear to have any fresh, clean water, not much bedding on the ground, and no food in their troughs. The inside needed a good clean. Animals outside were dirty, the paths were difficult to walk down. Okay for small children...More

The animal park was interesting but the gardens wherein need of tidying. The hedging was reasonably manicured but many of the beds were full of weeds and unkempt. The whole place seemed rather sad and run-down. A disappointing visit.

I have visited here many times both personally and professionally (as a teacher on a school trip). It is fantastic. The prices are reasonable and you can get an annual pass for a family (2xadults, 3xchildren) for about £50. Feed for the animals is 50p...More

Thank you for your review, and we're so glad that you enjoyed your visit! We always welcome visitors who bring picnics with them - on a sunny day it makes a perfect picnic spot. If visitors need to store their picnic baskets in the visitor...More

Visited here with another family. The grounds are fantastic (Lake, house and gardens)...The farm itself wasn't as great as we expected. The groupon voucher made it worthwhile though

A wonderful, all be it short, day out, especially for younger children. Lots of very friendly animals to see, pet and feed. Donkey rides for £3 extra were a fantastic addition my three year old was over the moon. Bouncy castle and a nice little...More

Hello, much like the last reviewer, I don't think you can get public transport there. I think the students who study there during the week have a specific bus/coach for them.
