We took our twin Grandsons here and expected to experience something really special. Well how disappointed were we. It is fortunate that our grandsons were only 4, and therefore excited to see dinosaurs full stop, and they had no real expectations to do otherwise. But as adults we felt that for the price we would get more than we actually... More

I took my young grandson and he happily spent over an hour examining every exhibit and every interactive thing. I personally found it tedious and overpriced but my grandson still talks excitedley about this visit many weeks later...but he is a real fan of dinosaurs.

A complete waste of my pension. The County museum is by a country mile far better value. I cannot recall such a disappointing experience anywhere in the U.K.

Excellent - old school approach to showing a very wide range of fossil casts and putting them into context - no gimmicks and riveting to anybody wanting to learn more about dinosaurs

Bought a 5 for 2 ticket which cost me £33.90 for me and my husband to visit Tutankhamen, mummies, teddy bear, dinosaurs and warriors museums. The dinosaur museum is aimed mainly for children. We arrived at 3.15 to b told quite rudely that they shut at 4. We had looked around and read everything within 20 minutes!!! It was ok but Wudnt go... More

Nothing special for a 'fun' time as it is aimed more at adults not families. There is a lot of text on dinosaurs to read if you're into your facts and they have a little tv room where there's a documentary on. Not quite what I imagined but the right place to go if you're looking to educate yourself.

I think it was £8 or £9 each and we spent approximately 45 minutes there. We also did most things twice. Access to upstairs was steep and difficult with children. Wish we'd looked at trip advisor before we wasted our money.

Went here with my 3 children, and were only there about 40minutes. The information that was there was interesting but felt you were constantly being pushed along by others as they tried to fill the place. We didn't even get to look in the cinema room because it was so packed. I was really disappointed with the plastic dinosaurs which... More

If you are considering paying a visit to this museum don't bother, you will have more fun staying at home watching the paint dry. The "dinosaurs" are donkeys years old and damaged. Nothing of interest to see.
