Visited on the off chance. So glad we did; a beautiful church with a magnificent golden glow from the stonework. Our 3 yr old son also enjoyed his visit with some children’s books thoughtfully left out

We really enjoyed it here having spent four hours inside the Abbey learning all about the history. The gardens and tea room were good as well

We went to this location to see a concert given by The Dorset Police Male Voice Choir joined by The Avon and Somerset Police Male Voice Choir. This was a fantastic evening of wonderful music performed by 2 very good choirs. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful abbey in the town of Shaftesbury. The stained glass windows and ceilings are amazing. There is a lovely peaceful feeling inside and is wonderfully maintained.

Sherborne Abbey is extremely beautiful, and was an extremely significant building in historic Sherborne. The architecture inside is beautiful, and the collection of old (rather deteriorated) flags is nice. What's more, it's free to go in with a donation box at hand. This is good,...More
