We’ve been to Swanage a couple of times & really enjoyed wandering along the pier. There is a small charge to get onto the pier, but worth it for the upkeep. This time everyone was keeping their distance & it was nice to get a different view of the town from the far end, looking back. Also views of the currently redundant cruise ships anchored in the bay, It’s also a lovely spot for lunch. There’s a small cafe & a gift shop too. Well worth a visit.

I have been to swanage over 5 times and i tell you, it does not disappoint, you could easily spend a whole day here on a nice sunny day. It is a nice little town with a lovely beach and pier. Plenty of arcades and food shops for the kids. And easily reached with those that have wheelchairs, plenty of bins and benches for you to sit.

A lovely pier. ( Not so keen on the new buildings but maybe that's just me. Needs must? ) Super views and lots of benches and welcoming volunteers. Thank you.

Nothing on the pier so you pay just to walk along it. I appreciate its run by a charity so I’m sure they’d get more in donations If you take a boat from Poole you can walk the pier for free
