Brighton Marina is rapidly developing into a sprawl of 'luxury' flats. However, beneath the facade of luxury yachts and bentleys are lives lived in quiet desperation. I have rented here for three years. My block of flats has been subject to police raids and angry exchanges between neigbours due in part to poor sound insulation. The entertainments on offer vary.... We recently took a group of older people some in wheelchairs and walking frames we had to disembark in the Asda car park then walk across to busy roads. Whereupon we found that none of the lifts working no signs to indicate that they were out of order and no members of staff to advise us all in all pretty... More

It was Ma in Law and my Birthday so this was supposed to be a special treat. We had a voucher for £25 from the a la carte menu so seemed a good place to go. When the bill came we were told voucher not valid. Food overpriced, staff not interested and a 10 % service charge already taken. Would... More

Quite a good choice of restaurants (primarily national chain type, not sure there were any independents), a few shops, and a marina (lots of expensive boats, some fishing, nice views).

We caught a bus from our hotel too the marina, hubby was shocked at £5 each way for the 2of us. Although very convenient. We were told loads of shops, restaurants etc. A 24hr asda and a few shops, the original factory shop, the gift company, estate agents, a bag shop, the works, bijoux, and a couple of others. We... We have visited the marina regularly for years for various leisure activities. Enjoyed seeing the new developments. Most of the restaurants on the boardwalk are chains. There are a few independents out the back which may get overlooked now with the new extension by the West Quay. Apart from Asda and a handful of shops, this isn't a shopping destination.... More

I have family that live in Brighton and I often stay with them. Every time me and my cousins go down to the marina. It's great and there is so much there for you to do. There is a cinema, bowling, crazy golf, gym, trampolines and alot of restaurants. I usually go down with my cousins to use the trampolines.... More

If your vehicle is over 1.8m tall forget about it, you're stuck to the ASDA carpark (which isn't ideal) and then time limited. Lovely location overall and could easily spend half a day or more here - but not a chance thanks to the stupid parking restrictions in both time and size!

Hi Netherways, thank you for your feedback. We are looking at the parking situation to see how we can best improve it. Of course, we are keen to keep it free but also not a spot for workers to park all day and leave site. Thanks again and hope to see you soon. More

Went fir a day trip to brighton on a clear Sunday morning. The main attraction of the marina is the 4 hour free parking which came in really handy. Around the marina there is a bowling alley with games arcade and burger place. Los of kids birthday parties taking place. There is a casino that is open 24 hours .... More

It is great for a meal, arcade casino, cinema. Not that many really good shops though. It is also fun to walk along and look at all the yachts there.
