Lovely day out.

So much to see, so much to do. Lots of lovely people. If you need to buy a present for family or friends or just want to look this is the place to go.

Loved The Lanes, lovely shops and many welcoming pubs serving good food and great beer. Cannot wait to revisit and see more.

Lots and lots of jewellery shops, all very expensive. Where's the variety? However, That Little Tea shop in the Lanes serves a good light meal and the raspberry hot chocolate is delicious.

Quirky shops, lots of variety with plenty of choice to suit every budget. Be prepared to walk and walk and still not see everything. Bonus, plenty of bars/restaurants/coffee shops to refresh you.

Great place to spend a few hours alone or with other browsing the shops. A good mixture of boutiques, funky shops and street stalls selling anything and everything. A few good homeware shops as well as shops selling novelty items, a great florist selling good value plants not only cut flowers etc. Definitely a place to go Christmas shopping for... More

Loved the Lanes ever since I knew that existed back in the early 60s. They have of course changed over the years but the essence is the same - generally small independent shops with the odd quirky area.

Quaint little alley ways with more jewellery & choice than even Hatton garden. You can either walk around together on a romantic tip or if like me you have been married for 20years+, plot up in one of the excellent surround traditional pubs while the wife compiles & returns with a shortlist for both to decide. Then there are great... More

First time mooching the Lanes. Seemed to be crammed with jewellry and other high end shops. Not much diversity.

Loved it - just getting busy for Christmas - quirky and traditional all under 1 walkway. It was Black Friday however so was busier than normal, but still some great things to see and buy

There are lots of lovely looking places to eat and drink in the Lanes. Add to that some really good shopping and interesting street life and you have a must visit area. It is also just ajacent to the Royal Pavilion.
