Being in Brighton on a sunny day we wanted to head to the Marina for lunch and a boat trip. The railway is the ideal way to get there and back from the pier area. It's just a small train but most enjoyable and relaxing....More

Having being ejected from the Brighton pier because we had a dog our spirits were low. But the nice staff at Volks Electric Railway (VER) when asked, advised me that dogs were welcome on the VER. We all had a great time, especially the dog....More

Cheap family fun, get this historic tram/train to and from the Brighton marina area, stop mid way at the kids playground or get off near the aquarium/pier area. Very reasonable cost to ride.

It’s a wonderful journey traveling in this train covering few miles along the sea. You get to see the town on one side and water on other .The travel is smooth and comfortable.

Although I've been visiting Brighton for over 40 years, this was the first time that I have been on the railway. The carriages are semi open, so if it's wet and windy, I wouldn't recommend it, but on a hot sunny day, it's an ideal...More

Beyond good to have the railway back in service. Beautifully restored. A journey back in time. Terrific. To be supported by everyone who loves Brighton. May it be available to many more generations.

We didn’t get to go on the train last year as they were updated it. They have done a really good job, we liked looking around the little museum about the history of the Volks trains, also a small cafe. Lovely train ride, we stopped...More

They do not have a specific facility on the trams, but the staff are very helpful and friendly and I am sure they will do their best to help you.
