Walked from Brighton town centre to Rottingdean along this path which was wheel chair and push chair friendly as it is a flat concrete surface. All ages walking, jogging and cycling. The sea was crashing against the raised sea wall so you had to dodge the flying water and shingle that had been deposited on the path in some places.... More

Not too easy to find a place to stop and park the car. But quite accessible in a few spots. The walk was paved and accessible via some steps. It was fun to stroll along and look at the views, watch out for the waves though when the weather is wet or waves are high as you can get a... More

Great for a leisurely stroll or a healthy walk, jog, cycle. Lots of dogs, elderly and young people, children and bikes. Keep your wits about you as some of the cyclists go too quickly. Toilets at Saltdean, Ovingdean and Rottingdean and cafes at same places. If you get to the Marina you have an enormous amount of choice of restaurants... More

It was lovely to walk along the base of cliffs by the sea edge. Walk is flat and easy with the only risk of a light shower from the sea every now again at certain parts during high tide. All good though. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

I am lucky enough to walk along the undercliff almost every day and it is different every time. The height of the tide, the weather, the day of the week all make a huge difference. On a sunny bank holiday it can be completely packed with people enjoying themselves to a wet winter weekday when it is almost deserted. If... More

We walk the undercliff on a regular basis... it's lovely to be able to have a long walk by the sea... especially with the tide coming in or out with that lovely and relaxing sound as the sea ebbs and flows....cafés at saltdean and Rottingdean... lovely way to spend a couple of hours walking and relaxing...

As locals we rarely visit the Undercliff now because there are too many snarling, fighting dogs off their leads and some lazy owners who pick up their dogs' poo in small plastic bags then leave the bags on the walkway which invariably split and spill the poo. And too many disrespectful cyclists who ignore the speed signs, ignore the signs... More

The perfect 1 hour stroll from Brighton via the marina to Rottingdean. Flat, meters from the sea and an overload of fresh air. Rottingdean has many all year around eating places.
