The free bus from the railway wasn't running so took an Uber. This course is set on top a hill overlooking Brighton about 1 1/2 miles from the centre.
Unusual in the fact it isn't a complete circuit , more of a cane shape with a couple of roads crossing the track, which open in between the races. Also visibility isn't great, even from the grandstand.
Small paddock area, which I personally enjoyed, we found the Premier Bar to be pleasant , though not massive but friendly staffed.

Easy to get to, (we caught the bus from Brighton station) had a few drinks in the bar and watched the races from the Grandstand. The winners enclosure is just around the corner (and its where they start from too) a lovely neat course, with big screens so you can watch the horses when they are a distance away

Lucky to have a coach trip door to door - 5th October - treated myself to an upgrade to Silks! Charming staff and some novices - table 5 ? - charming waitress - usually a Chef! Good menu - main course was good - but looked tired - nice cheeseboard - good gutsy red Shiraz! Good companions - a shame the view could not be that of the course!

I always believe in betting to lose at a racecourse so always a good day when you have a couple of winners and break even. Nice course it is unusual in that it is not a round course more a horseshoe shape so races are limited in distance. Top jockeys William Buick and Hollie Doyle on course the day I was there. The course is easy to get to by bus from the Churchill shopping centre bus station. The only annoying thing at the track was the bar only accepted payment by card not cash. Having drawn sufficient cash to cover bar and food bills a minor annoyance. Would have been worse for anybody who had left their card at home or didn't have a bank account card. All the course bookmakers took cash and with the relaxation now on covid rules and all pubs taking cash not sure what the reason was.

Lovely racecourse with fabulous views of the coast. Plenty of seating and tables. We were allowed to bring our own food onto the course but no alcohol allowed. Very good views of the racecourse itself with tables and chairs right up to the rail.

I was with my older parents and younger children so wanted a permanent table and base which is why we went for the restaurant option. It was class, everyone in the Silks restaurant was wonderful. Great service, fantastic food and never waited to long to get a beer.

Great view of the whole race corse as well as most of Brighton. You can use the Tote in the restaurant or easily head down to a bookie down below.

Would 100% go again when next in Brighton.

Thoroughly enjoyed a day at the Races with some friends last Sunday. Picnic area great with tables and chairs supplied. Security staff great. Lovely to have a bet and catch up with friends. Bottle of Proscecco a bit steep but very nice. Would definitely return another time. Lovely day out.

What a great course, we were in the Silks Restaurant hospitality and it was superb. Great view of the amazing course on top of a hill where you can see the horses sweep round and down the hill towards the grandstand. Also looks out on the parade ring. Really friendly crowd and no trouble that I saw.
Food and service in Silks was top notch, they even had a band on. The only downside was getting away. It’s a fair walk back down to the seafront, no good if you are in high heels and there was a huge queue for the cabs. Go dressed for the weather because the course is on top of a hill and exposed if the wind and rain is in your face. A really great day out.
A great day out.

What a lovely racecourse. We had a fantastic time, 05.08.21. One of the nicest courses for the lovely views. Im disabled. The journey from s wales was well worth it.
Lovely views looking out to sea and the friendliest staff you could ever meet. Polite, courteous, friendly and disability aware. We often count how many drones we can see, maximum being 6, so far. Wasnt put off by the rain. Everybody was enjoying the atmosphere. Sadly, could not find a decent cup of coffee or tea.
The views alone are worth the trip. I always look forward to attending meetings there. I often wonder why nothing appears to be done to support the lgbtq community. Example, best dressed female is so last century.
I cant thank the staff enough for such a enjoyable time. One minor qualm. No hot drinks. Many thanks to all concerned for such a great time. This wasnt my first visit and wont be my last.
