I like the Lord Nelson, having visited in the past just for a drink, and also for social evenings. It's an attractive pub, the staff are very friendly and they serve a range of Harvey's fine ales. I went just recently at lunchtime to meet...More

This pub stocks my favourite beer (Harveys), stores it well, usually has places to sit, is welcoming, & does generous Sunday roasts - we had the nut roast, vegetarians & vegans catered for. Great local pub.

We met some lovely staff manning this pub. They and the local customers were very welcoming. We only stopped for drinks in the middle of the day but they made it all such a pleasant experience.
