By far our favourite thing to do in Brighton! Always affordable and so much fun for the whole family. Mark always finds the perfect bikes for our group. This visit, he picked just the right bikes for 5 teens of all different heights and abilities and the tandem bike was great for myself and my husband!

We rented one tandem bike (for me and my boyfriend) and one normal bike (for my mum). The owner was very helpful both during a phone call the day before our trip and on the day itself. He gave us valuable information about the route we wanted to take, handed us the bikes and even his number in case we needed him - turns out, we did: When we had cycled for about ten minutes, the chain of one bike came off. We called him and he was there in a minute, handing us a replacement bike and taking care of the broken one. Also, the so-called "Undercliff Walk/Path" is really worth a bike trip and we can highly recommend the route to Rottingdean. We even did not have to pay more although we were back a little late!

This is the number one place to hire bikes in Brighton. Mark is so customer focused and does his utmost to ensure you have an enjoyable, safe experience. I organised a health & wellbeing/ team building experience for staff at Dolphins Pre-school, Hove. Without exception everything went v. smoothly and a great time was had by all. I would have no hesitation in recommending others use Brighton Beach Bikes.

How perfect! I hired a bicycle for the Brighton Naked Bike Ride. (Don't worry I had a protective seat cover!). I arrived and was greeted by a guy called Bernardo. He was lovely. Found me straight away on the list. Asked which bicycle I wanted. I said about attaching my bag somehow and he then suggested a basket. Brilliant! I sadly had a big bag too that I was travelling with and asked if he knew anywhere close by I could store it. He said he would keep it for me. I was so THANKFUL. The bicycle itself was a smooth ride. Pumped up tyres all ready for me. I had a lovely ride. PS. Remember ID to hire the bicycle. I forgot but gave my debit card as a deposit.

Easy to book online, very friendly and helpful staff. The bikes are lightweight and easy to ride and the ride along the coast towards the marina is lovely and easy riding without having to navigate busy roads. This is the 3rd time we’ve hired bikes from here over the last year with family and friends and is highly recommended for a fun day out.

We rented bikes for 3 hours and rode to Rottingdean below the cliffs - this route was recommended to us and we loved it! Beautiful scenery and lovely village to explore. Many thanks for what was one of the highlights of our time in Brighton.

Having read previous reviews I can only reiterate about the friendless of the staff. Booking process was easy, confirmation and reminder email received. Bike seats were very comfortable. Brighton is great for cycling as there are plenty of cycle lanes. We hired for 4+ hours, but found that 4 was enough. Its been a tough summer so far, short season, so give a local business your business.

Mark was awesome, gave detailed recommendations on routes to take - which we took & thoroughly enjoyed. The bikes were excellent quality and well maintained and we were provided with a strong lock. The place to go for bike hire in Brighton!

If you love cycling, you have to hire bikes from Brighton Beach Bikes if you are visiting the area. The bikes are amazing value for money, easy to book in advance and the cycle routes are stunning. As a family we covered nearly 35km of coastline in one day, It was a day we will never forget.

Easy transaction to get 4 bikes for family. Pleasant staff at the hire centre. Bikes were ok, not great (on one bike the chain was worn and made horrible noises) Cycled to Rottingdean and back in just under 2 hours. It was busy in Brighton, but much quieter out of town.
