when the lift first moved it made the wife crap her pants. It was great it seemed as if the lift had no rails. I thought she was going to have a heart attack. i wanted her to use the lift to go down but alas no she didnt. Thank you to the very polite workers on that day.

I have been up here a number of times and look it up there. Just sitting having an ice cream from the ice cream van up there it's amazing views and so peaceful. The views from the carriage are breath taking. I remember seeing this as a child on the darling buds of may.

All in good order. A few bits of local information at the bottom. Stunning views from the top. £3.70 for a return. Fascinating to see one carriage go up as one goes down .

We visited yesterday and it appeared to be one of the few things open. Someone went on ahead of us and we were given a carriage to ourselves. I bought return tickets saying to the guy we didn't want to get stuck up there as a joke. At the top we went a short walk as the weather wasn't good and when we got back it had closed. If it was because they were having issues then someone should have been there to explain this. We had no idea when or if it would start again so had to resort to the steps back down. Terrible customer service.
