What I like about this park is the fact that you can start in the manicured part of the park and walk right through to the wild woods. Great for dog walking, family oriented park cafe visits, walkers and runners, exploring nature, great tree selection,...More

Plenty to do in this park. Close to town centre and on bus route. Nice cafe. Good playground for kids. Take bread and feed the ducks

Beautiful little ponds to feed the ducks a few play parks and a river that flows threw the whole park. So worth a visit. Cafe at the end is a little expensive but worth it.

The gardens are well kept and there is plenty of room for families and OAP's to walk or sit. The cafe offers a varied menu at reasonable prices.

Lovely park with lots of different areas - ponds lakes, open areas, woodland, streams and activities. My daughter said it reminded her of Central Park with locals teaching kids to ride, playing footie etc. Free parking in side roads too.
