This is a community asset of great value - currently closed even though in the past it has always remained open while repair work was undertaken. There are visitors throughout the year and this does not give a good impression of our vitality as a...More
Very disappointed to find the award winning pier closed. There is no indication of when it will re-open. Luckily we discovered that bottle alley has a great light show which was really impressive. Worth a visit on its own. Also lots of other places close...More
But don't bother wasting your time visiting this pier, it's always closed 'for maintenance' despite a 14 million pound rebuild only 2 years ago, and when it's open it's just an incoherent mish-mash of plastic animals, tacky gold statues and random pub garden furniture.
