Well kept gardens. Lovely to see so many people using them. There is a lovely craft shop in the gardens which is definitely worth a visit. Just a shame about the toilets which was not very pleasant!!

These lovely gardens are hidden behind high walls but not far from the High Street. Great for a sit down or to while away a few hours, also possible to get a drink and ice cream. Peaceful oasis in Lewes.

Tulips were in full colouful bloom when we came across this tranquil but quite large space on our way to Anne of Cleves House. Delightful walks, and with a river running through, it made for a lovely moment or two for pace and quiet enjoyment.

Dazzling display of spring bulbs. With the setting of the Grange, the grass where families can picnick, the stream running through in its channel, this must be one of the nicest public parks anywhere in Britain. For some reason the cafe and craft shop were...More

These garden are so central that it is a wonder that they have not been built over. However, they are well maintained, manicured lawns, colourful flower gardens, mature trees with their name plaques. What a lovely spot to relax. There is a refreshment kiosk, if...More

It is not over large, but quite beautiful. You could walk around it in less than half an hour, or if you stop to admire the flowers you should allow an hour, (plus an extra 29 mins for a cuppa from the kiosk). There is... More
