This was a real eye-opener. I know you've all seen the famous Constable paintings, but to stand on the VERY spot they were painted is quite moving. Lots to see and some easy beautiful walks. GO !!!

We walk here often with the dog and have done for years. It's really pretty and peaceful in the winter months or later In the evening once the crowds have gone. Also a great location for a picnic.

Lovely setting of the Constable paintings, with locks, canals and original buildings. To/from here you can walk to Dedham alongside the Stour river, a very pleasant 45 minute walk over fields often occupied by cattle.
