By all standards, old. A lovely, well kept graveyard with headstones indicating that this church has played a major role in this area for hundreds of years. Tucked away down a back lane, the grounds offer peace from the hectic routine of the overrun high...More

A very nice church & cemetery. It's not something I'd go out of my way to find. But if you're in the area it's worth a look. It's a nice walk from the Swan Hotel.

Staying nearby, we walked through the village to the church. There was a wedding the next day and the bridal party were rehearsing for their big day. Serene and beautiful.

We came across the church after parking our car behind the street. It wasn’t crowded so we explored the area inside out. Beautiful climbing roses at the entrance, the inside was even more beautiful. Backyard of the church had a beautiful cemetery with a garden.

Nice walk through the village got us to this lovely old church in the heart of Bibury. It was well described & is the oldest, or one of the oldest, in England. Another nice thing, it was VERY “untouristy.”

There is not much to do in Bibury, however, a walk through the town should include this church as a stop.

An oasis of calm away from the throngs of tourists, this lovely church is a bit Tardis like - it looks quite small from the outside but seems huge once inside. Very light and airy (on a summer's day at least), the roof at the...More
