Really great day out with kids, plenty to see, really good introduction to birds of the world, children friendly site, rest and picnic areas, changing rooms, nearby car parking, clean. Definitely we will go back again. Thank You

This place has much going for it - it’s location is beautiful with the stream running through it and serval bridges connecting. It had a well laid out and spacious feeling, surrounded by forest.

You could get really close to the animals - the penguins were virtually touching distance (although I wouldn’t recommend it!). There was a nice array of birds.

Our young children loved the dinosaur section, walking through the beautiful forest looking for them. They especially liked the fossil hunt where with paint brush and sand they dust away to discover dinosaur bones. It fascinated them.

The play area was spacious with quite a few climbing bits - suitable for most young kids but ideal for our 4 year old.

Priced reasonably and well worth a day out.

No penguin show as so much food floating around the pool, they weren't interested in doing anything. Good variety of birds but I do the cages were slightly bigger! Some of the other birds also seemed to have a glut of food lying around cages. Not really understanding the broken plastic dinosaurs in a Jurassic park area. None of the sound effects worked.

Really lovely place to visit, beautiful gardens. Favorite bit was the penguins and the tortoise. Couldn't park in the car park but could park 5 mins away in a field cheap enough. Only downside was the cost of the food in the cafe. I would take some food with us next time.

I really enjoyed my day out at bird land , loved all the different species of birds and penguins, were so funny, I took loads of photos, the only thing I would recommend is that you take a picnic,as the cafe can be a little bit expensive, especially you have children with you, but all in all a very enjoyable day ,go and have some fun , even my husband enjoyed it he talked to every feathered friend there 🙂

These seemed to be some of the happiest animals that I have seen in a place like this. They seemed to be building nests and behaving as I would expect in the wild much more than I had expected which was my main observation. The river flowing through the site really added to it.

We visited Birdland last weekend and although some of the enclosures seemed adequate for the birds, I noticed that the African Grey parrot only had one toy in the outside section of its enclosure. Birdland please could you provide it with some more stimulation!
The children enjoyed the dinosaur area.
