About
Visit and tour the home of 'Hawkstone Lager', produced in partnership with Jeremy Clarkson, which is rapidly becoming one of the nation's favourite premium lagers. Whilst tasting of the range, which includes Kaleb Cooper's 'Hawkstone Cider', you'll learn all about the meticulous processes that go into making each of them 'hard to make, easy to drink'. Head to our website to view available tour dates and reserve your space. You can also visit our on-site bar, the 'Hawkstone Arms', to enjoy fresh pints of Hawkstone alongside food from local pop-up kitchens.

Brilliant place. Tour was amazing, very very generous on tasters (pint sized) and freebies at the end.

Thank you! We always give freebies to those who drive so as you don't miss out on the generous 'samples' :) Cheers & hope to see you again soon...

Really great tour. We have done a few bug name tours previously (Adnams, greene king to name a few) but this was just as good, and probably a bit more intimate and honest. Nigel the tourguide was very welcoming and knowledgeable. There was a very generous amount of samples throughout the tour. We look forward to seeing this place on the next season of Jeremy Clarksons farm! If you're staying nearby, this is the place to go.

I'm so pleased you had a great tour, we do like to make it fun and the generous samples help ;) As you noted we have recently rebranded to Hawkstone in line with our collaboration with Jeremy Clarkson with lots of exciting projects in the very near future! Cheers, Nigel.

Received a gift card to experience the brewery tour for two. Myself and my husband were dropped off at the venue by my parents. They went into the village for a couple hours while we went off to sample lots of different lagers.
We were welcomed by Nigel who was friendly and professional. Once everyone who had booked the tour had arrived we were taken into the taproom and given half a pint of the first delicious lager to try. Nigel explained the process of brewing and described the lagers we were tasting. All of us then went into the farm house building to see the brewing which was so interesting. The group we were with were so lovely to chat to and bounce questions back to Nigel. After the tour we went back to the tapoom to try some more lagers and chatted some more. We bought some lagers to bring home to enjoy and remember our time there. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Recommend couples, groups, and work colleagues all to try this out, you will not be disappointed. Keep up the great work guys.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know you enjoyed the brewery tour and new taproom. We're very fortunate being so close to the center of Bourton on the Water & the Slaughters and encourage visitors to explore both villages on foot after being with us and making new friends :) Hope to see you again soon for more brews and chats. Cheers, Nigel.

We booked into the tour after seeing it highly rated on here, and were not disappointed. Trevor was our guide, and he made everything fun and informative. The plentiful samples were excellent too.
The tour actually ended up being number one on our list of experiences during our holiday to the Cotswolds, and I feel like I learned a lot without being lectured at. Originally I thought it was perhaps a little pricy, but honestly it's totally worth it. I would definitely recommend making use of the shuttle bus service though, so you can enjoy the booze to the fullest!
On a side-note, the food there was phenomenal too - just the perfect pairing for the great lager. It was an excellent way to spend the afternoon.

We had a great day. We learnt an awful lot about what goes on in a micro brewery. Trevor was an excellent tour guide and we are already planning another visit.

What a fabulous experience. Nigel was extremely
Knowledgeable and passionate about the craft of lager brewing, coupled with the tasting along the way, it made for a fun and educating couple of hours. Well worth the money and highly recommended

My wife and I had a really great visit today. We are visiting from the US and the staff was incredibly friendly and they have great beer. Great to hangout or get one for the walk between Bourton and Lower Slaughter! Thanks for the great experience!

Went on the tour on Good Friday…had the most informative and welcoming guide -Nigel (could be mistaken on the name as there’s a fair few samples to get through )
Worth every penny, and as a local have made the place a frequent destination as it is well worthy of local residents support!
Good atmosphere, good location and excellent brewing skills!
Wish them all the best in the venture with Jeremy Clarkson, as a local to Chadlington originally, Hawkstone is a name I know well and it’s lovely to see it having some recognition to a quality local producer!
Absolutely rate this as a must do if visiting the area !
Well done to all the team!

Is it necessary to book in advance for the tour of the Brewery? We are planning a visit on 22nd December 2016 - what times are tours on this date does anyone know?

Hi Gill,
May be a bit late now but we did need to book in advance as the tour guide needs to ensure they have enough people before the tour can go ahead.
