Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great to walk around by yourself, with family or friends. Gallery and good cafe available plus tennis courts.
Nice children’s playground for young children.

Have come to Cheltenham today - which is a pleasant and genteel town - for a national trades union demonstration to mark the 40th anniversary of the ban on union membership at GCHQ and also to protest at the growing restrictions and proposals against the rights to strike and demonstrate. It’s excellent weather today. Montpellier Gardens is a great place to start. There’s a good turnout and a lot of support from the locals. It also looks like this will be a good town for good food and many bevvies later. Nice shops too.

We were fortunate enough when visiting Cheltenham to catch a band playing in the park which made the day extra special.

This is a nice little park in an upmarket part of Cheltenham.

We had a nice evening stroll, the gardens were in bloom as it was summer.

As it is near the town centre it is worth dropping in.

Visiting Cheltenham, took the kids to burn off some energy at Montpellier Gardens, near the center of town.
Well maintained park with lots of seating, activities or play areas for the kids, toilets, a cafe and a small art gallery.
Everything you need from a park.
Parking nearby is a bit tricky, but all good apart from that!

Found the gardens but disappointingly most of the space appears to be fenced off for work. Judging by the rectangular chunks of pale grass it’s used to erect marquees for events rather a lot. I’m sure the space has potential but it wasn’t really apparent today.

Has Monty Don had any influence on this beautiful park? A nice area of the town, close to the main shopping area. There was lots of activity going on when we had a stroll around - mums with prams, dog walkers, joggers, grandparents, cyclists, roller bladders. I think it will busier in the summer as there were tennis courts and a croquet lawn. The cafe was well attended.

A nice park with bandstand and gallery on the edge of town.
A coffee shop is on the edge so you can get a drink, sit down and watch the world go by.
There are also tennis courts that you can hire if the weather is good.

Large park. Not quite as nice as the Imperial Gardens nearby but still a nice area to walk though or sit and enjoy a picnic.
