We have visited the theatre 3 times, so worth a review. This is probably the best theatre for some distance. A fairly remote part of the country for thesbians, but attracts some good plays on tour. The theatre itself is nicely done with good legroom...More

We saw The Mouse Trap there this evening. It was a very good performance and scenery was fabulous. The stall seats are spacious with loads of room for long legs. Plenty of loos, but narrow access. Staff very helpful.

Been here many times over 18+ & its a lovely place with a great little cafe - albeit very busy. (The toilets are accessed through the cafe & often have long queues during performance breaks). The performances are super & varied - so there is...More

Have been in this theatre numerous times - never disappointed. Always great plays and performance by actors. I do not think they have their own actors but get touring plays. I watched King Charles III there 2 weeks ago and it was absolutely superb. The...More

All the favourable comments about the very ornate interior and the excellent plays staged here are true. It is worth collecting a group together and asking the staff to give a guided tour behind the scenes. My group were given a brief history of the...More

The theatre is charming, having relatively recently had a makeover. It is easy to get around and the staff are all most helpful. The busy bar at the interval is well organised. There is an excellent range of productions. We saw King Charles III a...More

We have been to several shows here. The venue is as good as any London venue and very easy to get to. The shows we have seen were excellent. Seats comfortable with reasonable leg room. There are several very good restaurants nearby all making for...More

Sorry for the delay in responding. I would imagine that this may be difficult for a young child. Best to contact the theatre for affirmation. Best wishes, Tina
