My partner and I came to chapel spa and had a few hours by the pool and steam room, and then I had a back massage and she had a facial. The building is a church which was interesting. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and the pool was small but nice. It was a bit like a jacuzzi. I would bring a book to read whilst you are there. The massage was very good. We had a covid survey when I went in and I identified that I had been in contact with covid and had worn full PPE for this, as I work in the NHS. When I was in the pool the staff brought over a complementary champagne from the manager which was a very lovely touch.

Considering the price, a complimentary glass of anything on arrival would be good! No Prosecco, green tea, juice or even water!! We were just told “drink plenty....there’s the water container” The woman who explained all the new Covid rules to us was clearly fed up of this part of the job because we just felt like a massive inconvenience to her. Placed on loungers (4 loungers) separated by a yellow taped table for “social distancing” (2 and 2 - there was 3 of us) only to see two other groups placed in sets of three with no issues. Decided as a treat to purchase a bottle of Prosecco to arrive at a certain time...20 minutes later than planned it arrived with the words “sorry it’s late we are manic” wow...what a treat. We felt so special. It’s not the cheapest (nor was it the busiest but apparently “manic” ahem) and I fully expected we would be treated like paying customers not like we were putting them out for turning up. Receptionist on the other hand was lovely and my massage was so painful but the masseur was very nice. Surroundings very basic. For my first spa trip...massively underwhelming

I'm used to a spa where a therapist comes over has a quick chat treats you with a soft gentle manner - we had a bullish lady come over ask us "which one is having deep tissue" no introductions nothing. We were offered a glass of water after no green tea etc. I then stayed up all night writhing in pain - which is not the fault of the spa but it is courteous to say to clients who have deep tissue what the side effects will be and how they should spend their evening - I've been have painkillers for the last 24 hrs and deep heat rubs. Extremely painful even though at the time it didn't feel as bad.

This spa was just perfect, me and my partner came here on a weekend away in Cheltenham, the spa itself was just lovely, the lighting was so relaxing. We had a poolside treatment and there wasn’t to many people in there at one time, at one point we had it to ourselves which was perfect! Very clean everywhere, It was just so relaxing highly recommend!

My friend and I booked the 3 hour bliss package and spent an afternoon in utter bliss and relaxation. The spa waters, the scalp massage, the steam room - it all added up to complete relaxation! I will definitely use this spa again!
