Cotswold Discovery Trail Self-Guided Tour

8 reviews
The COTSWOLD DISCOVERY TRAIL is a self guided private tour enabled by our beautifully designed maps and Trail Pack. There are 2 day long Trails to do. Avoid expensive tour guides, the map is your guide. Explore things on your own, at your own pace with the confidence you know where you are going.

The centrepiece of the Trail Pack is a fold out map. There is a Trail on each side, one for the North & South Cotswolds. The Trails are circular to complete in a car, structured around many stops where you explore on foot. There are many start points, so you finish where you start, which is the most convenient place for you.

The maps offer comprehensive directions, are packed full of interesting information and loaded with questions and clues to answer which illuminate further on your surroundings.

If you have a limited time in the Cotswolds this is the best way to see a lot of it.

We love this place and have been coming here for decades. Open gallery kitchen serving I think Tuesday to Sunday daytime only meals (at same time as the shop is open). Very warm and cosy relaxed chilled atmosphere. Wonderful salads and vegetarian options. Highly recommended.

Great cafe with excellent variety whether for lunch or coffee & cake. Shop always well stocked with essentials and interesting Nepalese knits and printed cottons. Always worth popping in if passing

Fresh nutritious and tasty meals. Plenty of choice. Quite expensive but worth it for good food. Interesting range of food, clothing and toiletries.

We visit Abbey Home Farm about once a month and love it. The whole environment is wonderful and food excellent. We like the choices of places to sit and love sitting on the terrace when the weather is good. The food is delicious and locally sourced, most coming from the farm itself. The drinks are very good, coffee smashing. We greatly enjoy the farm shop and always come away smiling and delighted.

Visited here for their eco friendly products. Staff were friendly, helpful and informative, we learnt so much in such a short visit, will definitely return and have enthused to family and friends about the good work being carried out here, keep it up, you're inspirational!
