My daughter, Diana and I took the Secret Cottage tour last summer while visiting England. We both feel it is the very best experience we had while visiting the beautiful country. We saw and heard history that was priceless. Every portion of the tour was informative as well planned. I am reading Jane Austin and Adelstop at the present, a book I purchased while there. It comes alive after the visit. Also many British TV shows are filmed there and it helps recall the beauty and significance of the area. The hosts were more than gracious and very knowledgeable. The secret cottage and tea were a great ending to the tour. Please, if you have the opportunity to take this tour, do it. If we ever return to England we will not miss it. Judy and Diana, Montana USA

We went on this tour the end of July 2019. I just realized that we didn't leave this review recently, when I was making my book for the trip, (sorry!), but I wanted to leave it anyway, because it was so great!!
We met Robin at the MOM train station. "We" means myself, my husband and my 10 year old son. Our group separated into two vans.
Robin was quite the host! Entertaining, engaging, comical-dry wit, knowledgeable and friendly.
We stopped at points of interest-including historical buildings, churches-(one that had my name btw!), quaint villages, scenic spots-(Lower Slaughter), lovely countryside, farmhouses..... and more!
He made it really special!
The tea and the end of the trip was fabulous, beyond my wildest expectations. I enjoyed seeing the inside of the cottage, talking with the owners and how it would be to live in one currently.
Overall, cannot say enough wonderful things about this tour, and the group that hosts it.
I pushed my husband to go on this tour, and he now agrees it was the highlight of our trip to the Cottswolds.
If you are considering going on this tour, go. You will not be disappointed.

Becky was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the regions history and residents. She was an accommodating tour guide in the roomy Mercedes van for 7 adults. Plenty of room and every gets a chance to sit up front. Tea at her 500 year old thatched roof home was fabulous and the spread of cakes, pastries, scones and other tasty treat were delicious. Her daughter Holly drove the other van and was also a great host. It rained half of the tour, but it didn’t dampen the experience! Well done!

Perfect day trip from London! We took the train from Paddington Station and were met by Becky and her daughter. What a wonderful way to see the Cotswolds as if visiting family friends. Perfect lunch at a pub for just a few pounds and ended the day with tea at Becky's 500-year-old cottage before returning to London. Worth every penny of the cost. One of my top 5 days on my 90 day trip to Europe.

We were transported back in time while being chauffeured in a lovely, roomy Mercedes! Our tour included an excellent lunch in a local homegrown pub along with all the breathtaking scenery and stops throughout the Cotswolds region Entering the Secret Cottage at the end of our tour was enchanting, and oh so delicious!

This tour was the perfect way to experience the Cotswolds region. You get the benefit of a small group and seeing villages not accessible to the big tours - plus Becky, her daughter and the rest of their team make it such a welcoming (and delicious) experience! I booked this tour solo and felt so welcome. Have highly recommended to any friends visiting London.

We've toured the Cotswolds four times...twice on a bus tour from London, twice on a private tour with Secret Cottage. Secret Cottage is by far the best. It's a quick trip by train to Moreton-in-Marsh...then tour by small luxury van. The small van is able to go into the more intimate and cultural villages...the heart and character of the Cotswolds. The English Tea at Secret Cottage is a real treat...wonderful foods and a chance to see the interior of these unique homes. Both times our driver was a great entertainer and a wealth of knowledge...he's lived in the Cotswolds for 30 years. We highly recommend this tour.

The Secret Cottage tour was a unique and fun way to experience a day exploring the Cotswolds. Becky and her daughter, Polly, are both lovely, friendly, and exceedingly knowledgeable and passionate about the region. They cultivate a lovely environment and make everyone feel welcome while also providing a robust history of the Cotswolds. Although the entire tour is gorgeous, Becky and Polly also make sure to stop and highlight various particularly scenic views and always offer to take pictures for you! Getting to go inside of the secret cottage and enjoy a delicious cream tea is also very special. Overall, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough for anyone who wants an unforgettable day.

At first I was a little nervous about doing this tour, thinking I would be the only single person and the tour would be full of old couples (I am 28). However this tour turned out to be a gigantic highlight, there were people my age on the tour and the guides, Becky and Polly, were so inclusive. It was a true delight to see their countryside and private residence. So many places were included on the tour and both tour guides were more than happy to take photos of us at the places we visited. Thank you for sharing this. The high tea was incredible too, not simply a cup of tea with scones. There were cakes and sandwiches with plenty to feed everyone. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour. Indeed, the reason I found out about it was because a colleague recommended it to me - I'm so thankful for the recommendation!

I looked at several options but chose this wonderful tour because of the ability to see several villages, small group in luxury vans, and being able to see inside a cottage. It did not disappoint. The vans were well kept and we were able to go so many more places a bus could not and had the luxury of just sitting back and letting our guide, Polly, talk about the area. Polly was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable and funny! The stop at the Secret Cottage was a nice ending to our tour. The food provided was delicious! This was definitely the best way to see the Cotswold villages!!!
