The church yard has 99 yew trees, these have been shaped and are clearly well looked after. The church yard is worth a walk around to see the different headstones etc the disappointing amount of dog poo in the grounds was sad and shows lack...More

At Mary's is a beautiful church in the heart of the picturesque Cotswold village of Painswick. The yews in the churchyard are quite spectacular. We'll worth the visit.

You can’t miss St. Mary’s when in Painswick. I had never seen Yews of this age or sort before and they are quite fascinating. Have a meditative look inside the sanctuary and quietly stroll the gardens for a lovely hour.
