Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely great weekly market that does a once a month even bigger spread. Real stalls with local produce at reasonable prices. Not one of this “fashionable” markets that just marks the prices up to sell to millennials. Good mix of people, good atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Lots of atmosphere and a ok market,a bit pricey on some of the food stalls. The farmers market is only on Saturday I think, but Friday is just the one market. It’s a good morning/afternoon out

Stopped by on advice from our Airbnb hosts, so glad we did. Easy parking, great and varied market. Food, produce, baked goods and crafts. One of the best we’ve been to, excellent! Highly recommended!

Excellent variety and lovely atmosphere. We had a lovely time with the snacks, trips down various memory lanes on some stalls. Definitely worth exploring!

Shambles market is a lovely shambles - everything everywhere! You want it, it is there!
Lovely stall holders, very polite & happy to see you especially if you are tourists which we were.
Open air in general, so good weather helps, we will visit again if back in the area.
Lovely organic produce available to purchase.
Plenty of parking, just need to be patient. Stay for the day and enjoy lunch - plenty of lovely local food.

i spent ages wandering round here and tried some foods I had never had before. Everyone was very friendly and happy to explain what was in the different foods. Patties were definitely the best!

Visited the markets on a Saturday morning. The two markets kinda merge in to one another, ether side of the street. I understand that the farmers market is only open on a Saturday morning. If you can I'd suggest you go then to see both.
It is the best market I have ever been to in this country. There's a great mix of food and crafts and the variety was huge. In addition, unlike a lot of these places, the produce was not over priced.
I sampled my first Kombucha, bought my first bottle of Kefir which was also surprisingly tasty. I've never seen either of these things on sale elsewhere. But if you are only going to buy one thing, it in my opinion, has to be a Portuguese custard tart. Apparently the secret family recipe is award winning, I not surprised, I could have eaten 10!
Also, whilst there were tourists like myself, there were clearly also a lot of locals/regulars and the overall feel of the place was so warm and friendly. Shame there's nothing comparable close to my home.

Surrounded by historic buildings and the beautiful Cotswolds, coming to this market is a wonderful experience.
A wide variety of stalls, both indoor and outdoor, selling everything from biodynamic fruit and veg, to original artwork. Much more reasonably priced than the Farmers' Market nearby.
There are also toilets, and a disabled toilet with baby changing facilities - extremely useful ! Plus the beautiful churchyard, a great place to eat lunch.
