Our first visit to Stroud: Saturday morning at the lovely market, located in the narrow, charming, rambling lanes of Stroud. Food of most kinds, mainly locally-produced. A good smattering of other stalls too; crafts, plants, records, etc. A total delight and delicious food too!

Visited the market in April - all sorts of stalls - many food related. (NB - most of the stalls etc are OFF the main street and not easily seen at first. Good mix of visitors and friendly locals.

Love our Saturday morning trips to the farmers market. Great local produce of all varieties & everyone is so knowledgeable about the local area & the goods on sale. The Olive stand in particular is our favourite & don't worry about the queue it's always worth waiting & she is very quick & organised, so it's never too long a... More

Highly recommended, once you have been once you just keep going back every Saturday. Wine, cider, beer, meat, cheese, olives that if you are not early they are gone and food stalls.

Visited, having heard reviews and were delighted not to be disappointed. Lots of local crafts, foods etc. Various in price but none excessive. Chatting to a few producers they obviously knew their products and were also passionate and accommodating. Having worked on and visited many farmers markets we understand why this has so many awards and feel they are justified.

We almost couldn't find these markets we saw a small area with only a few and got disheartened. After stumbling across these stalls we were so happy. Brownie stand - amazing Garlic farm - delicious sauces The doughnuts were amazing! Lovely people highly recommend the fresh apple juice stand

We visited whilst in Stroud and there was a great selection and wide range of local artisan produce to sample including cheeses, gluten free, chutneys etc. - great for foodies! Also lots of craft stalls with hand made pottery, woven goods, stained glass and clothing etc.
