This place is great and there's more to see every time you go. Last visit was a particular success with our 11 year old unable to move from the room dealing with geology. Have also taken groups for visits and the staff are unfailingly helpful...More

A really unpretentious museum which focuses on the industrial heritage of the area. If you want an insight into real life in days gone by in the Stroud valleys this is the place to visit.

This is a lovely museum which tries to involve people from the community.It has changing exhibitions as well as an excellent selection of local artifacts.Lots of workshops, usually a free kiddies trail over the school holidays. Yes it is wheelchair accessible. Also they have a new walled garden which also has ramps.
