Westonbirt is very dog friendly with about two thirds of it accessible to dogs and off lead for the most part. Dog bins and even free poo bags. Cafe is only dog friendly outside which is better than not being, but not great sitting on...More

Even though it was a cold Saturday morning in January the car park was full and there were people everywhere. The entrance was crowded as people entered and then went to the toilets, making it difficult for those wanting to just enter to walk through....More

I love this place and have been several times. Took a winter walk with the family as part of my mums 60th birthday celebration weekend. We had such a nice time. The weather held out (just) and we spent a few hours strolling around looking...More

A fantastic day out for all the family. Great walks and information points all around as you go that kids find fun and learn from. A restaurant in the centre can get busy but loads of options for everyone.

We are friends of Westonbirt, so go for a walk regularly. This time of the year is not the best time for visiting! However in the spring and early summer the foliage and blossoms are fantastic. It’s also very good fun for families and dog...More

Spacious (free) car park was a very welcome sight on arrival after a longish drive. But I would have appreciated access to the toilets and perhaps the visitor centre BEFORE the payment kiosk and entry turnstiles. Once access gained, the site is spacious and very...More

Spent several hours exploring this beautiful arboretum. There’s two trails and we stopped for a delicious got chocolate in between. It was so well kept and great for all ages. Dogs are welcome too. Highly recommend

I love all the rare trees at the Arboretum, and the nicely laid out walks. I also really appreciate the educational displays along those walks, showing you how trees "drink" water and how they manufacture sugars to fuel their growth. There's also a lot of...More
