We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This church also forms part of many family memories, aunts and uncles were married here, cousins were christened here and grandparents are buried here so it was nice to revisit whilst we were in town.

The impressive spire can be seen from all directions as you enter the town, the nave dates from the late 1770s, but the best part for me are the high box pews which are fast becoming unique as other local churches seek to replace them with more modern chairs and furniture!
The church, as a whole, has a lovely light and airy feel to it. It is worth popping in, even if like me you may not be religious.

Gorgeous church and graveyard, very well kept and maintained. Lots of small displays of activity within (prayer leaves, map of prayer, candles ect…). Also a lovely little shop.

We were very disappointed at this church because the whole of the nave was roped off so that it was impossible to walk round it. All we were allowed to do was have a brief look at the sanctuary and nowhere else.

Great to see such a well maintained and interesting church. Even more refreshing to see that it was open.

Very much enjoyed visiting St. Mary. A most impressive church (also open). beautifully maintained, beautifully kept. Spire can be seen within the town which somehow draws you to visit. The woodwork/ stained windows are most impressive.

Enjoyed the wander around the cemetery, looking at the flowers there. The church is ( as one would expect) very beautiful and peaceful.

The "family" pews - with their own doors - are a must see. Also take the Tetbury circular walk (about 2 to 3 miles) which boasts St Mary's spire to be always visible.

Tetbury is a great market town and the church has a lot of history - going way back to Saxon times. Unfortunately you wouldn't know from what you see now. Big disappointment!
