The walk on the path to the stone church was quite interesting because of the raised sides. Inside, the church was simple yet beautiful with the arches, stained-glass windows, and the solid wood pews.

This is a simple country church. When we visited it was full of flowers so must have been a celebration so it was particularly pretty. There are nice stained glass windows and the church itself is one of those sturdy buildings built around the 12th...More

This beautiful little 12th century village church perfectly compliments the picturesque Cotswold village of which it's a major feature. Lovely stained glass windows and a gorgeous carved stone font stand out, as does the stark wooden hammer beamed ceiling. The church is up a little...More

St Peter's is a beautiful church in the quaint village of Upper Slaughter. We enjoyed seeing it on our walk of Warden's Way. It is such a classic example of the kinds of small church's you can see walking around the Cotswolds. Picturesque!

We looked around this quaint little church after a walk round the stunning village, felt really magical, the stained glass windows a treat to look at, lovely long pathway to entrance, loved seeing this church.

What this church lack in size it more than compensates through charm, especially the trees framed entrance - quite the sight.

Do drop in to this attractive village church when passing through or staying nearby, there's some interesting stonework inside and a lovely selection of ancient and modern stained glass. Plus lovely views of the village and countryside from the graveyard surrounding the church.

Pretty village church in a wonderfully picturesque Cotswold village. The local area is full of surprises and well worth a visit. Don't miss out on the beautiful ford and footbridge below.
