This is an interesting venue to visit with lovely gardens and entertainment for children, however they need to upgrade food services and perhaps consider how to improve how the interior is presented, it all comes across as a bit tired and old fashioned and not...More

The gardens are beautiful and will be exceptional when summer comes. However....I sadly have to agree with people who found the castle itself disappointing. Other people have put forward my complaints so there is little point in repeating them ..only to agree that they need...More

I had hoped to see Katherine Parr's room in the castle, but the morning we arrived we found out that several of the upper floor rooms (her rooms!) were closed off. We later learned an important Tudor painting was being returned to the Castle so...More

Shopping extravaganza in the grounds of Sudeley Castle in aid of Charity. Lots of stalls in a marquis and the quality of the goods for sale was excellent.

A nice day out. We enjoyed the gardens and grounds. The cafe has reasonably priced refreshments too.

Great value for money and much history to see. The grounds around the castle are huge and much room to roam, or for children to run around in. Highly recommend visiting here if you have the time.

Nearest train station is Cheltenham Spa. From Cheltenham there is a bus service to Winchcombe the nearest village. Sudeley castle is approximately 20 minutes' walk from Winchcombe.

I would think not, although this would depend upon your children's ages. The experiences inside the castle are exciting and informative but would not, I think, be of great interest to younger children as an in-depth... More
