It was a bright sunny afternoon and a beer and a pulled pork sandwich went down very easily... Tasty! Not sure what happens in bad weather... but they... More

Great location for a beer garden, just off the common, but never feels too crowded. Refurbished last year (?) and well stocked with good beers and cider. Fabulous food, really great burgers, good decor, nice staff. Good pub all round.

Had the Sunday Carvery here recently we could not fault it, excellent choice of fresh vegetables and very good customer service. The bar staff were also helpful and knowledgable about the real ales on offer.
