It was not far from this spot that the Pilgrims left on Mayflower and Speedwell in 1620. It's a simple column next to a busy road opposite Mayflower Park if your American or interested in history I would recommend.

This Memorial is a piece of History - marking the spot where the Pilgram Fathers set sail in the mayflower set for America, its not large but its well worth a look.
