We had a two hour ride on this steamship, crewed by volunteers, all knowledgeable and very pleasant. The weather was superb, the journey very interesting. You can visit the Bridge, Engine Room, Boiler Room and it's a fascinating experience for all ages.

I did the asbestos removal on the Shieldhall a couple of years ago, and the volunteers who look after this boat were great. They have done a wonderful job of maintaining the Shieldhall, and they cant do enough for visitors.
