Passed this several times when out and about on the bus. It sits at a lovely park near the museum. The Museum itself has the most amazing floor in that it shows a map of the area with all the homes where someone either died or was involved in some way with the Titanic. A lot of what is in... More

Had long weekend in Southampton awaiting cruise and decided to see as much of the titanic experience as we could. Although in need of some cleaning this is a magnificent memorial to some very brave people and we visited it each morning before breakfast as part of a nice walk. It is in the park at the top of the... More

This memorial is widely regarded as, although incorrectly as the Titanic Memorial. However, it is a memorial just to those officers who were engineers, and contains just a few names. This is a beautifully designed memorial but typically just honours the officers without acknowledging the other men who lost their lives.

This is a very fitting tribute memorial to the engineers who lost their lives on that fateful voyage of the Titanic. The overseeing Angel with outstretched wings is very imposing and a must see for all Titanic buffs and visitors to Southampton. Its lovely to see that flowers are still placed at all the memorials on the anniversary each year.

This is a moving memorial to the engineers if the Titanic. We visited this as part of a walk down to Bargate and the medieval walls.

I have often walked past this Titanic memorial over the years, and still find it moving to stop and read the names. None moreso than in 2012, the 100th anniversary of the sinking of Titanic, when losts of wreaths and flowers were left at the memorial, with touching tributes to the Engineers who went down with their ship. Would recommend... More

Nicely situated in a lovely green quietish park, is another Southampton tribute to the brave men that died aboard Titanic. Cleaned up for the 100yr anniversary in 2012. Also near by is a much smaller memorial to the musicians aboard the tragic liner.

Located in the corner of big open space, sometimes it is hard to realise the existance of the attraction. The memorial is located just after traffic light from London Road to Above Bar Street. If you take U1C from Uni Southampton interchange, you can stop either at London Road or Above Bar (before Southampton Solent University)
