Missed a great opportunity, i think. I viewed a lot of the exhibits on display when they were in their previous and more appropriate exhibition venues. Like The Maritime Museum and Gods House Tower. This is a newish venue , imaginatively constructed but very dimly lit, making it quite difficult to read some of the information relating to the exhibits.... More

I was really excited to go to the museum because everyone knows that the Titanic docked from Southampton so therefore...I stupidly assumed that Southampton might have claimed a few artefacts from the ship but no.. sadly not. It was really well presented, I could see they really tried to bring the entertainment factor to the museum, to cover up the... More

We really enjoyed this museum and learned a lot about the Titanic and Southampton. The Titanic Exhibition is interactive and educational and tells the story from the point of view of some of the staff and the people of Southampton. Plus you can hear excerpts from the inquiry. The history of Southampton is interactive and keeps you really engaged. We... More

Really enjoyed this museum, full of exhibits on cruise history - menus, uniforms, in fact all sorts of memorabilia imaginable from the first steamers to the latest cruise ships. A most interesting exhibition on the Titanic and I found the judicial review most nostalgic.

Went to this museum today, what a fantastic way to spend a few hours, lots of information really well presented. It is a combination of the Titanic disaster and the history of Southampton. There is a lot to read with some interesting associated artefacts. I happened to follow the free tour, the guide was very knowledgeable and answered any questions... More

I visited Sea City museum during a university break before I'd gone home. It was very quiet, but the exhibitions were very interesting. The presentation of information was balanced perfectly between being aimed at children and adults. My family is originally from the Southampton area so it is nice there is still a museum with information about Southampton from various... More

I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by this museum. It was clean, fresh feeling and well looked after! The exhibits were interesting and informative, especially the titanic exhibit...taking you through all the stages of her life and the lives of the crew members. Suitable for both adults and children with interactive displays for all age groups. The only... More

I wouldn't say its a must tho I enjoyed the visit and how it combines the history of the cruises and boats to the city of Southampton. The titanic exhibition is probably the most popular room and it was very interesting to see some real objects from the ship and learn some fact and details from the lives of those... More
