Our primary aim is to meet your unique requirements and enable you to develop the skills to realise your boating ambitions. Located in Southampton we have the whole of the Solent for you to explore to expand your skills and develop your boating experience.

I recieved a course in Ocen Sports Tuition and was a great experience, Andy wasy trainer.
He is very knowledgeable and helpuf, help me out to find the school, the boat and even were to go for dinner. I was new in the area and felt very comfortable dieing that week. I know that whenever i am back again i will be very welcome and that makes me feel like i want to visit them again. This time as an instructor maybe.

Ocean Sports Tuition delivered an exhilarating RYA Advanced Powerboat Instructors course! It was an absolute blast—fun, engaging, and incredibly informative. The experience not only enhanced my personal skills but also turbocharged my teaching methods and knowledge. I enthusiastically recommend this school, and major shoutout to the incredible instructor trainer, Andy Murray, for making the journey truly unforgettable!

Fantastic tuition. My daughter was a little nervous about attending the course on her own but ended up thoroughly enjoying it and looking forward to doing more - can't recommend it enough!

Most recently done my VHF with Ocean Sport’s having previously done my PB2. I have sent numerous people down to Andy and all have not only really enjoyed their day but sung their praises for Andy and all his staff. I will be returning for all my qualification needs and cannot recommend them enough!!

My daughter and I booked the RYA level two powerboat course at ocean sports tuition to enable us to safely charter and use boats in the uk and abroad.
From day 1 of the course we were out on the water with a very friendly and experienced instructor who over the two days took us from low speed manoeuvres up to high speed drills on Southampton Water. We also learnt passage planning and piloting skills to enable us to safety take a high speed RIB from Saxon Wharf over to Hamble Marina and back.
We would recommend ocean sports and all the courses they run and our particular thanks go out to Steve our instructor who tutored us over the two days. Many thanks once again!

I had to do PWC course to be able to use my jet ski in Croatia. Liam handed everything very well so apart from getting useful qualifications i had fantastic day on the water :)

We've been booking Bare Boat Charters with Ocean Sports Tuition for the last 8 years and we really can't get enough.
Andy and the team provide a top service, they ensure you receive a full handover and are confident before they leave you to your day.
Chartering in the Solent really is an experience, from Saxon Wharf there are so many places to explore. If you need any pointers the team are only to happy to advise.
With a variety of boat sizes to suit all groups you really can't go wrong.
The team ensure you are well aware of all costs prior to signing your agreement and there are no hidden costs. They are always quick to advise of any changes and communication around payments and contracts is quick and painless. Everything is well laid out and easy to understand.
We can't get enough and are already planning our next trip.
Whether you're looking for a charter or for tuition we really would recommend Ocean Sports Tuition.
