slightly overpriced for not all of the exhibits were working properly....at least 7 weren't. The planetarium was fab although was made to wait to go in last by the staff member for a school trip of 50 so after paying extra for this and being at the front of the queue originally to be moved to the back only got... However we went on wet day the place was rammed full of children running hear and there. complete lack of parental supervision. some children are astonishingly rude , whilst i meet some lovely parents... We visited this centre with our 9 year old grandson. At first it did not seem that big inside, but once he started making use of the various science experiments, very hands on and good for making a child think instead of a machine doing it for them. We aslo visited the Planetarium to see Polaris it was well put... More

Could be brilliant but with very lack lustre interactive displays albeit educational and some fun and a cracking planetarium. Disappointing cafe with equally lack lustre food and service. I suspect as both the screenings and displays change some times are better than others.

Such a therapeutic way to watch how the world works! I'd had an anxiety attack not long before and it was just the most calming thing. The museum was fun for all ages, the children were loving it and there was lots of games where you can go head to head with eachother whilst learning! I was very pleased to... More

First time visiting and the experience was generally good. Most of the hands on exhibits were in good condition and cover a range of physics and natural sciences. Each exhibit has instructions but I felt the science "why" was lacking on some of the exhibits. The planetarium could have been a fantastic asset, comfortable and good screen and projection. But... First at all, get there early in the morning as car park gets filled very quickly. The place itself gets overcrowded easily and you have to wait get to plat with the stuff. We visited this place with two young kids and were done in about 2 hours. The price for entrance tickets is not cheap plus you have to... More

We visited for the second time today with my 2 year old and 9 years old. I never heard I am bored once. It was busy, but the kids stayed busy and both left exhausted. There was so much to do. The first time we went I remember being disappointed when we first arrived as it looked small; however, looks... More

We took our 10 year old grand daughter. Didn't know what to expect but I can thourghally recommended this place. We spent 5 hours including 2 shows in the planetarium. Every thing is hands on which adds even more pleasure to the visit. Well worth a visit.
