This totally caters for young children it states recommended age above 5 but there were loads of younger children in there and mine are 2 & 4 and they thoroughly enjoyed the day we did not even get downstairs we managed to do a quarter of the attraction. We were expecting to be out within 3 hours but it is... More

There are lots of different activities for the children to use all with a science behind them. It's a bit of a free for all with children all over the place. Nothing is structured. The children aged 9 and 10 loved it. I found it a bit boring. The children just jumped from activity to activity without really learning anything... More

We visited in half term. It was too busy with out of control children. We paid £36 to get in and they wanted £3.80 more each to go into the planetary a few of the exhibit were not working and the restaurant queue went all the way round the shop. Our children were bored and we only stayed an hour.... More

My family and I visited this museum, what a lot of fun was had by all. This is a very hands on experience with many activities to get involved in. Our 9 year old son really enjoyed the the brainwaves game, my son placed a mind headband on that monitored your brainwave so the more relaxed you are the ball... More

Took our 5 year old grandson here for the day. Booked on line to save 10%. Parked at the centre so that we could go back out for our picnic although park and ride was available. (Not sure if this was just for half term). What an amazing place! Even though it was half term it was not too busy,... More

My 9 year old and 8 year old granddaughters visited the science centre today. They so enjoyed themselves that we had to drag them out to get them home to their parents. There were so many fun things, science was quiet boring when I was their age but not any more. In fact we enjoyed it as much as the... More

Just spent 7 hours here and had to be kicked out at the end! Arrived at 10:15 and managed to get one of the last few spaces so worth arriving early. Booked online so got 10% off and the planetarium show at a much better price. Also got £1 off per person to spend in the cafe or shop as... More

We arrived at 10 so we could park easily having booked on line. At half term it is a bit chaotic and some parents are oblivious to either controlling the kids or appreciating others waiting behind to try something but overall it was a good half day. There could be better explanations of the science but are grandson enjoyed the... More

Don't believe first impressions, which are of a chaotic indoor play place. There are loads of hands on activities for kids, interesting exhibits and videos. Despite it feeling busy (it was half term) we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for anything and mostly no queue at all. The films were great, particularly the one on... More

Really good fun day out Reasonably priced a good variety for activities for the kids to kill a couple of hours The Planetarium show is an absolute must though , it's only an extra few quid and is well worth the price
