Well, this is a tiny little place, with steep stairs. I enjoyed the view of Winchester from the top all the way to the King Alfred statue. The ceiling was amazing! definately go just for that, but I’d have to say there wasn’t much more....More

Visited this museum and it was quite a find, located in the old wall of the city and although quite small the views from the roof are great, definitely worth visiting if you are in Winchester.

Pottered up the stairs when we spotted the sign by chance. Very small, but some interesting stuff and a real enthusiast behind the counter, some good views, one way, from roof and it is free.

We walked past this a couple of times, expecting something more imposing, but once found it was fascinating. Staff engaging and interesting. Steep stairs for those with any mobility concerns. Worth a visit.

A small museum at the top of Winchester high street, well worth a visit on a sunny day as you could see the city from the top floor. There are some displays of everyday items from the olden times.
