- churchyLlantrisant, United Kingdom19 contributionsGreat farm parkFantastic little farm park, clean tidy well kept, animals are clean and tidy and well looked after the toilets and eating areas and cafe were spotless. In all this is the best farm park i have visited. They are easy to find plenty of car parking space there is also shaded areas to park cars if you have pets everything is well laid out. There is plenty to see our son was not board.Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 27 February 2023
- Penelope F25 contributionsBetter on a quiet day.Not sure crowds are good for animals. Apparently there is no limit to the number of visitors allowed inside the pens with the animals and on a crowded school holiday it looked like too many to me. Also signage was patchy and confusing leading to animals being fed which weren’t supposed to be (horses and donkeys)and animals being fed inside enclosures when they weren’t supposed to be. There’s were hardly any staff in sight to impose the restrictions which were there for animal welfare. The place is neat and clean and the animals appeared to be well looked after. The queue for the women’s loos was very long and the one for the cafe caused us to leave and eat elsewhere. On arrival you are sold buckets of feed for the goats but most of the goats were too full to want any food so it went to waste , despite us and many others traipsing around several times in search of hungry animals. There’s a great selection of exotic fowl and some gorgeous pheasants and owls as well as the goats, donkeys, miniature horses and small animals such as Guinea pigs and rabbits. As it was chilly most animals were semi indoors ,resulting in very crowded areas. It would be much more enjoyable for people and animals I think on a less busy day but then lots of folk had the same idea we did. My granddaughter especially loved the frisky newborn kid called Donut and feeding the goats.Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 13 April 2023
- kirstycupcakeOldbury, United Kingdom31 contributionsWish I could visit again someday!Amazing experience. Really good variety of animals and breeds it was so interesting. They all look and behave happy with their environment which is great. You get to feed the goats and sheep which is awesome and you can walk in their pen and give them a scratch. I loved every minute.Visited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 29 June 2023
- Karen DGreat Barr, United Kingdom10 contributionsLovely place to visitLovely family friendly facility as part of larger farm. All animals look happy and well treated, their owl breeding programme is excellent and it was lovely to be able to peep into the nursery where the latest hatchlings were housed. Good value for money, you can easily spend couple hours wandering through the owl enclosures and paddocks to pet the goats and sheep. Highly recommendVisited July 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 6 July 2023
- Jan P5 contributionsA real treat, try to make the time.Fabulous place! All the animals appeared to be happy, well cared for and the enclosures were clean and safe. We especially loved seeing the owls, not birds we normally get to see. We spent a most enjoyable hour out two looking at the birds and feeding the goats and sheep. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Visited July 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 16 July 2023
- JayalayCamberley, United Kingdom37 contributionsVery sweet little placeLovely small farm park. The animals seemed well cared for, particularly loved the Jacob sheep (unusual to see) and the Valais blacknose sheep who didn't care a jot for the proffered food! The owls were also great, they have a lot of babies at the moment. The great grey owls seem to enjoy sitting at their window watching approaching guests, their personal TVs! There is a wide variety of owls from all over the world. We didn't visit the cafe and from reviews feel glad to have avoided it. Only quibble is that some of the animals were really in need of a muck out, like the guinea pigs and rabbits. A very enjoyable couple of hours, with children you could probably while away the whole day.Visited August 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 3 August 2023

- PbienvManchester, United Kingdom8 contributionsA Truly Amazing Experience For Any AgeThis has to be one of the best kept animal farms we have been too. I do not understand why people have given this 1 Star. The cages are clean and the fields that the animals are in are clean too. Being able to spend some time in a pen with some goats and sheep was fantastic (city people here folks). I would definitely have gone again if this wasn't such a fleeting visit to the area. I can understand why summer would be busy but you have to take the chance.Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 18 October 2023
- Andy LWolverhampton, United Kingdom28 contributionsGorgeous place with well kept animalsAttended 15th November 2023 around late morning with our 4 month old daughter. It wasn't too busy, but that was quite nice. Staff were amazingly friendly and chatty throughout. Animals pens were spotless and obviously lovingly well kept. They have a large collection of sheep, pigs, donkeys, owls, water fowl, birds, poultry and bats. You are allowed in certain pens along with the animals and your children. That is a lovely thing to be able to do, getting up close to the animals. The cafe was excellent. We had a pot of tea, a soft drink, shared a sausage roll, and had a piece of honeycomb tiffin each. The Tiffin OMG, lush! Great selection of cakes there. Our daughter seemed to love seeing the animals, we had a lovely family day out, and it was a pleasant experience. Well done.Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 15 November 2023

Lovely setting and the animals seem well looked after, it is a bit pricey but I can almost see the justification as feed isn't cheap

What a great day out. Animals so well kept and farm really clean. Staff so helpful. I tried to give an extra amount as a donation on the way out but was refused saying they didn’t take donations which was a shame as I am sure that every penny helps

Lovely selection of owls and a nice interactive area with the goats and sheep to feed. Lots of small animals and a nice view. However, bring your own picnic and buy a cake or ice cream. The food is meh at best and frozen, microwaved rubbish at worst. Pleasant service, though.
