    What a delight
Visited on Bank Holiday Monday. Had a lovely spot of lunch at the cafe. Pleasantly surprised. Had the most amazing mushroom quiche with salad . Service was very good despite it being busy..of course had to have a piece of cake. I had a slice of Victoria Sponge. So light and moist, perfect. Good to see they catered for Gluten free in the cakes which was lemon cake and they also had flapjacks. All looked delicious .

    A brilliant garden
Why haven't I heard of this garden before? It is very beautiful with so many wow moments. A real gem and so well cared for. The water areas and the wisteria tunnel are probably the highlights but there are so many more interesting areas, including beautiful views of the Wye, The cafe is also delightful with great food and lovely staff.

    Delicious Lunch
We visited Brobury house cafe on a perfect sunny day for lunch. I had the best bacon and Brie toasty - in focaccia bread, back bacon, properly hot with melty cheese, and my friend enjoyed her quiche which was a far cry from the usual soggy offering. Nicely presented salady bits on the side. Willing staff perhaps needing a bit more experience. It was very hot and it would have been perfect to have been able to sit outside under a sunshade. Stunning gardens and very peaceful. Really lovely visit.

    Lovely spot
A beautiful garden in private ownership. No signs or ' Keep off' instructions, just a lovely, relaxed, beautifully kept garden. Lots of shade so great for a hot day, access to the river, lovely water features. There is a small cafe with friendly staff and fabulous scones! Accepts the Gardeners World 2 for 1 card.

    An outstanding experience
This garden has always been a special place for me. The well-kept gardens are outstanding and reflect the loving care given to the design and planting, with many attractive features. I came today to check out the new cafe in the walled garden. This addition has made Brobury House and Garden even more attractive than when I visited many times in the past. The coffee was great and the staff very pleasant and friendly. The new cafe is beautifully furnished and the surroundings ideal to sit and relax for a while. This is an experience not to be missed and the owners and their team are to be warmly congratulated. Thank you.

Great food at new café but echoey and needs soundproofing
I would award 9 out of 10 points for my Mediterranean platter at Brobury House's new café. My family enjoyed their toasted cheese and tomato sandwich and in particular the scone, which received a lot of praise. My capuccino was a little weak and on the cool side. Two of us considered the room to be very echoey, making food preparation sounds and voices loud and making conversation difficult. Obviously the café owners will not want to spend much on a refurbishment so soon after opening but I suggest some seat cushions, curtains, more plants and replacing the big metal clock and metal tree decoration with textile wall hangings to absorb sound.

    Lovely garden. Poor cafe.
The gardens are really lovely and evidence of a real knowledge of plants. The terrace is delightful and the birch plantation wonderful, revealing a real eye for how to get the best out of your landscape. There are walks by the river. The cafe however, left something to be desired. I ordered a cinnamon bun and a coffee, which I had thought I would be able to take straight to my table, but no: I must wait and it would be brought to me and the wait was 20 minutes. I said that they seemed to need more staff and they replied that they hadn’t foreseen the number of visitors. Why not? I thought. It was after all August Bank Holiday.

Special trip out to relieve the tedium of rainy days!
Very pretty setting . Our friends loved the walled garden next to the cafe. Very friendly welcome in cafe. Great menu and choice. Well presented tasty food and excellent service. The whole trip brightened a rainy day for us and the sun came out after lunch - icing on the cake. Thoroughly recommend.

    Beautiful gardens
Brobury House gardens was the best garden we visited on our break in the Breacon Beacons. Really well maintained and beautiful borders, shrubs and trees. The café was also great, good coffee and wonderful selection of cakes . Very generous with the size of the cake slices aswell

    Tranquil gardens in beautiful setting
Beautiful garden on the River Wye. Interesting trees and water features as well as flower borders. Very relaxing few hours with enough seating to frequently pause and take in the atmosphere. Delicious cakes in the cafe with seating area in the colourful walled garden.

Great stroll around the garden which was just coming into spring flowers.

Lovely lunch. Pulled Asian Beef baps were delicious and the Asian inspired slaw was absolutely fantastic.

Great café for cyclists with friendly staff and a nice selection of cakes, drinks, etc. Soup with cheese toastie is definitely recommended. Peaceful and layered gardens with walled aspects, seats to gather your thoughts and a stream with ponds going down to the riverbank.
