Great area in the summer with many activities and the water park for kids. In the winter as well, is a lovely place for walks and the water freezes.

I went to the park during a visit to St Albans, There are sections of Roman walls to be seen, also a lake to walk beside. I went in to the building containing a Roman mosaic. The park is well worth a visit, recommended.

Excellent way to gain exercise is to do a few circuits of the lake. Call into the Fighting Cock public house on the third circuit for welcome refreshments.
