Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is an amazing place.
It is a wonderfully historic build church that is said to sit on if not near the site where Britain's first Saint, Alban went to trial.
A perfect visit for the history buff and for those who appreciate architecture and beauty.
The church has a very friendly reverend Kennett that makes anyone who visits feel relaxed and welcomed.
It's a fantastic place to come and meditate and pray and escape the craziness of the world outside. A little sanctuary.
Would 100% recommend!

Lots of history, dates from 948 AD and is one of the early pilgrim churches in St Albans. Very friendly congregation, lots going on in the way of activities for children, study groups in Lent and Autumn. Wonderful choir and good choral tradition.

A beautiful church full of wonderful features. There are a couple of chapels within the church and beautiful stain glass windows.

This is an old church which dates back to before the Norman conquest. Many of the bricks are from Roman times. Parts of the church have been added over the centuries. It is still an active parish. When visited a volunteer gave an overview of the church.

The building is set in a quiet area adjacent to the Ancient Roman City of Verulamium.

It's a beautiful building complete with a tower housing a blue clock. Not sure how old the place is, but its open to all and one can get a sense of its age when inside.

A lovely medieval building.

A thriving Christian community which welcomes visitors in many thoughtful ways: leaflets in several languages, information, events, community involvement - this church has it all!
