Welcome to the Apollo Activities Centre located between Radlett and Park Street (and just within the north side of the M25),
What we do here:
- Fun sporting activities for all ages
- Camping with open fires (tents only)
- Land hire for weddings or birthdays
- Outdoor 'Pay & Play' Gun & Archery range
Activities include:
- Archery,
- Air Rifles and Pistols,
- Archery TAG,
- Axe and Knife throwing and
- Children's crossbow (ages 4 - 8)
- Electronic Target System - interactive shooting for airsoft experience
- "pay and play" gun and archery ranges

Went to Apollo for my daughter’s birthday with her friends, my husband and sister. We had a fab shooting session. Jash welcomed us and did the safety briefing then Bob and Martin were our instructors. They were so friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. We all had a great afternoon. I would throughly recommend. Thank you to you all for making my daughters birthday so special. 😍

I went to Apollo activities centre in May 23 for my birthday and it was just fantastic. My family and I did axe and knife throwing first which was a BLAST. After that my friends joined for a night around the campfire and camping. They have a gorgeous bar and it was such a lovely space that really allowed everyone to make fantastic memories. Thank you Apollo!

This place is a hidden gem, a group of 7 of us did the Archery and it was fantastic. Bob was friendly and very patient with us and a great teacher too, guiding us all the time on how to improve. We arrived about 30 minutes late but they did not shorten the time we spent on the activity and we could not ask for a more friendlier bunch. Also, it has a lovely bar and pizza van onsite too so that you can relax once you've finished your activity. I am already arranging my next outing with a team of 10 of us to do the Shooting and Archery.

Fantastic shooting experience in idyllic surroundings. Staff are so friendly, helpful and patient and made it a lot of fun. Went with our 12 and 15 year olds and Bob was amazing with them. Highly recommend.

Fun day out with Katie the bride to be and family members. We tried Axe throwing, knife throwing, and Archery.
Pre warned by Josh who I booked it with that our trainer Bob was very experienced (well except for Axe throwing) but as I explained to Josh we would all make Bob look good…. Glad to say we didn’t fail lol.
Bob took a lot of ribbing from all of us in good humour throughout the day to be fair was an excellent host.
Wait till we bring the guys with us next time …. You thought we were competitive Bob, we were are nothing to them….. hahaha

We tried our hand at the children's crossbow as well as archery. Everyone loved it and the instructor was so patient with the children.
Lovely site, great instructors, not too busy and lots of fun! Would highly recommend.

Booked this activity in mind knowing that my brother and I would enjoy something of this nature. Was presently surprised about how warm and welcoming the instructor made us feel and of what to do for each of the different rifles that we had used.
I am super happy with this expeirence and would definitely recommend this to anyone that has an interest in this sort of thing. He also explained other activities that go on with this company and I would be more than happy to try the rest sometime shortly.
Keep up the good work as this was a great moment for myself and family.

An excellent day out for the family. Was a birthday present for my teen son. The whole family tried many different rifles / handguns and were calmly coached through by Bob.
Both my children couldn’t believe they were getting this chance to have some rifle practice with many different targets to aim for.

Hiya, with the air rifles, we have opted here to keep the ages 12 plus. The reasons being, kids are so impressionable, however, with the archery, we can work on ages 8 plus. We also have the suctions darts crossbows for children aged 4 to 8 years. Thanks

Hi, we dont at the moment, but its something we are thinking of setting up as a target practice range only. We have to get round to clearing a section, setting up the pulley system and building a shelter.. problem is we are quite busy with the experience days and this is going to get even busier as the wether warms up, so this may have to wait until the end of the year now. Sorry.
