About
We offer bike hire and bike servicing across Kent & East Sussex. We deliver and collect bikes around the area for day rentals or longer as well as having bikes stationed at many venues such as tourist attractions, farm shops and pubs where you can simply hire our bikes on a pay as you go basis by using the Linka Go mobile app. We also collect, service and return bikes too. Bike hire and servicing in the countryside made easy!

Country Bikes are FABULOUS . We were a huge group of 16 cyclists. Most of whom hired bikes with country bikes. The Country Bikes Team (with Tim) were brilliant. They were there early to meet us all. The bikes themselves worked like a dream. The instructions were super clear and they looked after all of us - even those who hadn't hired bikes with country bikes.
We had the best day- Thanks to them- none of the kids were saddle sore. Neither were the adults. Also the people with hired bikes were actually at an advantage as the quality of the bikes was so good. We would love to do this every day.

This is the second time we have hired from Countrybike and couldn’t recommend enough. A personable professional service and Excellent communication. Tim and Suzy work hard to make everything as easy as possible, are really approachable and nothing is too much trouble. The bikes are comfy and good quality and a the website provides a great selection of routes to choose from.

We did the Cuckook Trail as a famiy hiring bikes from Countrybike and had a brilliant day out, winding our way down the mainly paved track, beautiful scenary and loads of benches and tables for breaks and a picnic.
Communication from Tim brilliant, easy booking process, the bikes being dropped off at Horam as agreed, including a kids 14" bike for my daughter - texts to confirm bikes droped off and collected. (note - carpark free at Horam)
The trail was quiet, a few other bikers and walkers but trail wide enough to pass easily.

We hired two bikes from Contrybike in Horam today and I have to say the service from Tim was second to none. We are so very impressed with this lovely business which has allowed us on two occasions now to get out and about in the countryside with our children at an extremely reasonable price. HIGHLY recommended, thank you 😊

Countrybike provided an outstanding service - they dropped off the bike at the time and place requested and picked it up there as well. Communication was top notch.

Fully recommend. Tim is uber helpful with clear and prompt comms. He is also extremely flexible and wanted to do all he could to make things work for us. We needed a child's bike as well as 2 standard bikes. Everything worked like clockwork and the app and unlocking and relocking were straightforward. Don't be put off by this. I'd initially thought that I'd prefer not to go down this countrybike route, but in the absence of any other bike hire offerings in the wider area, had to choose it and I'm really glad I did. We'll definitely be doing it again. The bikes are top quality and very well maintained. Such a great, well-managed initiative. We were able to have a really excellent day out cycling on the cuckoo trail (part of which the girls'grandfather had opened when he was mayor of Polegate!), which without countrybike would just not have been possible. We absolutely loved it. Thanks Tim and Suzy.

The parents and children arrived to Maidstone in order to visit Leeds Castle.
We don’t drive and wanted to see if we can hire bikes locally.
After researching online I came across Countrybike.
Tim was anything anyone could hope for: very professional, very helpful, very pleasant, very accommodating. Furthermore the bikes are top quality.
The service was impeccable and countrybike is highly recommended.
Finally to add that I have a lot of appreciation for people like Tim. He set up a company 2 years ago to provide a bike rental service in a beautiful part of the country. I believe that renting a bike before was close to impossible

Countrybike performed a service on two bikes for me. I really can’t fault the personal service, they really went above and beyond- collecting and delivering my bikes back to me and providing personalised updates at every step. Amazing service Tim- the best I’ve had in years!

This was our first time using Countrybike and certainly will not be the last. Tim and Suzy made the entire process so easy, their communication and quick responses to my question was faultless. I cannot recommend Countrybike enough. The instructions contained in Tim and Suzy’s email was very clear and the map provided was very helpful. We did the Tudor trail from Penshurt to Tonbridge and it was such great fun! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be using this service again. We don’t own bikes and this is the perfect way of having a great cycle without the headache of owning and storing a bike! Don’t hesitate to book this, it’s just so easy and great fun. Thanks so much to Tim & Suzy.

We hired the bikes and Tim the owner made sure they were ready for the start of our day, helmets included for free which was appreciated. We choose the Penshurst place to Tonbridge route and using the route planner supplied found the journey easy to navigate. The kids enjoyed the freedom of riding without the worry of cars and us adults found the whole experience a fun way of spending time as a family. We recommend the service and the price is reasonable, making a family trip possible.
