About
We offer bike hire and bike servicing across Kent & East Sussex. We deliver and collect bikes around the area for day rentals or longer as well as having bikes stationed at many venues such as tourist attractions, farm shops and pubs where you can simply hire our bikes on a pay as you go basis by using the Linka Go mobile app. We also collect, service and return bikes too. Bike hire and servicing in the countryside made easy!

Tim was amazing, I planned a unique bike trip to share with my two kids (11 &13) and Tim made it possible. He was very accommodating and supportive even though we were outside his usual geographic area, and went the extra mile when we unexpectedly needed a bike pick up on a Saturday. I highly recommend him and Countrybike for all bike hire needs. Thank you Tim for helping me creating memories for my family, that was an empowering adventure.

Owner Tim very helpful with instructions for hire / using App. Picked up at Horam for Cuckoo Trail - he had already checked the bikes . Bikes clean and in good condition. Had great fun cycling to Polegate and back . Will definitely use again - maybe Penshurst next time . Would recommend for a fun day out

We hired two bikes from Contrybike in Horam today and I have to say the service from Tim was second to none. We are so very impressed with this lovely business which has allowed us on two occasions now to get out and about in the countryside with our children at an extremely reasonable price. HIGHLY recommended, thank you 😊

We had a five-star experience with Countrybike while staying at Beech Estate Campsite, near Battle. Tim delivered the bikes to the campsite in advance (and picked up from there after our hire), making our one day rental completely hassle-free. The bikes were really good quality MTBs - brand new in fact - and came together with helmets and a lock so we could stop off and lock up while out and about. Countrybike were extremely responsive and went to great lengths to sort out a small issue during the hire. Very highly recommended

I hired 18 bikes for a bike ride to a vineyard on a hen do. From start to finish the organisation and communication with Tim & Suzy was absolutely excellent. Tim kindly organised dropping off and collecting all the bikes at our address, and refunded a last minute drop-out which was so kind. The bikes are perfect for road or track and very comfortable and easy to use for people or all abilities. Cannot fault this company! Thanks so much

Fantastic service - bikes were delivered to the B&B that we stayed at in East Grinstead and collected the next day. Couldn't have been easier.
The bikes were good quality and in excellent condition, with decent, easy shifting gears and solid brakes. We had a great day's ride along Forest Way and beyond.

This was the trip of a lifetime for me because I've always seen beautiful places in the English countryside, but I could never stop and explore because I can't drive there. These e-bikes were the perfect solution, and Kent was the perfect place to do it. It was so exciting to wander country lanes full of homes from the 1500s-- some open to the public and others just private residences.
The bikes are very comfortable and adjustable so you get whatever boost you want. It was really fun! Tim was wonderfully helpful in advance and during the trip.

Fully recommend. Tim is uber helpful with clear and prompt comms. He is also extremely flexible and wanted to do all he could to make things work for us. We needed a child's bike as well as 2 standard bikes. Everything worked like clockwork and the app and unlocking and relocking were straightforward. Don't be put off by this. I'd initially thought that I'd prefer not to go down this countrybike route, but in the absence of any other bike hire offerings in the wider area, had to choose it and I'm really glad I did. We'll definitely be doing it again. The bikes are top quality and very well maintained. Such a great, well-managed initiative. We were able to have a really excellent day out cycling on the cuckoo trail (part of which the girls'grandfather had opened when he was mayor of Polegate!), which without countrybike would just not have been possible. We absolutely loved it. Thanks Tim and Suzy.

We loved our cycling experience. The E bikes were fantastic to take the strain off cycling and I would definitely use them again. The booking and delivery process were effortless and I think this is a great service. Thank you very much.
