Visited the Thomas Tallis a couple of times now when I’ve passed through Canterbury. The drink selection is great, fantastic location and staff are absolutely lovely. All apart from the landlord who’s the most miserable, rude man you’ll ever encounter. What’s amazing is, he clearly...More

The Thomas Tallis offers a truly extensive selection of Ales which changes fairly frequently. It does not have a bar, instead orders are taken at the tables (but the staff are friendly and allow tasters if one is unsure). The Tallis also has a strict...More

First off, I like my micropubs. You can see that from my other reviews, however, the TT is something special amongst stiff competition in the City of Canterbury. The bar has seating inside and outside and a range of cask and keykeg ales along with...More

Best selection of craft beers in the world. Great staff. Small, cozy, and no tossers. I love this place and I miss it now I no longer live in Canterbury, but it's the first place I revisit when I return.
