Took a trip with friends whilst visiting Canterbury. ' Captain Henry' took us out and he was brilliant. Informed, confident, highly amusing, full of jokes, but also happy to have serious discussions or answer questions. He made the trip, which is not long but is a must whilst in the city for the true Canterbury experience. Great fun, do it

Try out, find out! Take a trip down the man made river and find out secrets from her past. As Canterbury is the prettiest lady in Kent.

Informative, amusing, picturesque, reasonably-priced - loved it! Even umbrellas provided for the short shower. One of those attractions you'd love to do again.

A small boat on a small part of the river, but with hundreds of years' of history in the company of a fun guide/rower. 'Captain' Henry kept us entertained as he manoeuvred his little boat up and down the mill stream part of the Stour that the tour uses. There's lucks of ducking under improbably low bridges, but also a... More

We were very impressed with Tom our guide and rower today. He was very knowledgable and friendly and told us lots of historical facts and sayings, and we certainly came away knowing more than when we began the tour. There were 6 of us in the rowing boat as we were gently taken up and down the river , ducking... More

Captain Rob was so informative and funny, my boyfriend and I had a lovely afternoon and came away talking to all of our friends about the insightful facts we had learned! Extremely charismatic tour guide and a beautiful setting. Would do it again for sure!

Hi there Grandadseaside. It certainly has been an unseasonably warm October; lots of fun still to be had on the river. I even bought blankets for our passengers in preparation for cold weather, only to find that we barely need them! More

My husband & i loved our boat trip last Thursday. Tom the guide was able to tell us lots of history in a fun way. As a teacher I know how difficult this is. We learnt so much in a short time and the trip itself was enjoyable. The girl who sold us the tickets was friendly and helpful.

Thank you for the brilliant review Jackie. Tom will be thrilled to hear he made the tour so enjoyable for you. Sounds like your tickets were sold by Laura, our boat-girl-on-the-bridge. So glad to hear she was helpful! I'm so proud of my team. More
