A quirky and unusual trip along the Stour in Canterbury in a rowing boat (rowed by a professional) very good rower and guide. The river is quite short but the trip lasts 45 minutes and the guide gives avery interesting talk all the way to keep guests amused and he does all the hard rowing so a slow a lazy... More

I'd never been to Canterbury until I visited with the wife on Valentine's Day, I saw the tour was available online as from March 1st so was surprised to see this running mid February. We were the only two on our boat and Kriss the guide/captain/pilot whatever his job title may be was excellent, he made us both very welcome... More

Hi Mike! We decided to open a little earlier this year as the weather was so nice, and I'm glad to see it seems to have been a good choice! Hope you both had a wonderful visit to Canterbury! Thanks again for the great review. More

Decided to go on this at the last minute with a 13 and 9 year old as the day was bright and sunny. Our guide Henry, was both funny and knowledgeable. His "Canterbury Tales" were told with good humour with historical facts interweaved brilliantly. We all enjoyed seeing the old buildings, being on the water and a break from all... More

A spur of the moment visit during a birthday outing with my partner, it was great to see parts of the city that you cannot by foot or car, captain Henry made a fab guide, he was very funny, knowledgable and held our interest the whole time. Blankets provided because it was chilly!

Check before you buy your tickets that you are using the punting tour rather than the rowing one....I'm sure both are equally good but punting is something a bit different! Really interesting tour and they even provide blankets if it's chilly. My two 6-year olds were fascinated, although I think my 4 year old might be a bit young yet.... More
