Lovely gardens. Could do with more seating. People were reading, sunbathing and talking. Only saw one person on their phone.
Not sure that kids swimming in the river under the bridge was a good idea but at least the Ice cream van wasn’t extortionate!

These gardens are beautiful and a must see when you are in Canterbury.
The trees and flowers are lovely and there is a nice picnic area. The little river flows through it which is so clean you can see the fish in it.

There are about three Park and Ride parks around Canterbury and I would suggest using one of these. Canterbury is easy to walk around but not easy to park actually in the city. Using the Park and Ride solves that problem and... More
There are about three Park and Ride parks around Canterbury and I would suggest using one of these. Canterbury is easy to walk around but not easy to park actually in the city. Using the Park and Ride solves that problem and the buses run frequently.
